The Mormon Church history is a rich period of restoration and growth in the early 1840's in Nauvoo, Illinois.

Established in 1830 in Fayette, New York, Mormon Church historical sites stretch from Sharon, Vermont (birthplace of the founder Joseph Smith) to San Diego where the Mormon Battalion helped develop the southwest and early California.
